Keeping cool

It's become very hot here very fast.  We were in the 90s this last weekend.  I feel like summer is officially here.  Aaron headed to Walmart with the boys the other weekend to pick up our yearly splash pool.  The boys and Edie love it.  I love sitting out there watching them play. 

Last time the poppas were here we expanded the patio on the back of our house to accommodate our fire pit. There was a little flower bed there that kept getting destroyed by the kids and the dog.  It's also perfect for the pool.  Our grass is pretty sparse compared to Colorado standards and sand just gets tracked into the pool from the yard.  Having it on the patio lets it last a little longer.
