Playing catch up

I have 't been the best about blogging lately.  April is almost over and so much went on that I didn't get up here.  Basically, we had a great family vacation during spring break on Jekyll Island, I had a birthday, and we got in a car wreck (no one hurt except the car, currently driving a rental).

We rented a house on the southern tip of Jekyll Island and both sets of grandparents came down.  We had a really really great time.  Overall Jekyll was really cool, but we probably would have done more if the kids were slightly older.  I was surprised that the beach on Tybee is much nicer.  We went to the beach everyday but mainly played in the sand and went for walks. The water wasn't very inviting, even for the boys.  We spent most of the time in the pool at the house.  That was heaven.  It definitely made me hope we can get a pool of our own someday (once the kids are all little fishies in the water).  I'm just going to post a couple pics here.

Upstairs

Is done!  All the painting and the book nook.  It's our playroom.
The green and blue is chalkboard paint, so the kids can draw on it.
