Colorado Update I

New tooth. It is hard to see, but the first one is on the bottom left (her left, your right)...Toothless (from How to Train Your Dragon) sunglasses for the sunny Colorado days. Byron loves them, they're too big for Way and just fall down continuously (lose some, win some)...
Video of Edie and her first experience with "real" grass. Our yard is more sand than grass most times (if you received this via email you will need to click here to view it)...

Colorado

We are in Colorado! By we I mean me, Byron, Waylon and Edie. Poor Aaron is back sweating his butt off in Savannah. Our AC went out the night before we left. It is still (STILL!!) in the process of getting fixed. Aaron came out with us last Tuesday and headed back to Savannah on Thursday. Just enough time to spend our 9 year anniversary together (on my parents back porch, watching a thunderstorm come in and dissipate). These are the gorgeous flowers that hubby got me (I'm spoiled, but happily so)...
I've been having a great time. I really feel like I'm on vacation. Here is mom and dad on our way to the lake. We went out on their boat for a bit and let the boys play around the shore. Edie stayed shore-side and debuted her first tooth!!
My parents have a great set up out here (so we don't drive them crazy too much, hopefully) and we were even able to borrow an exersaucer from a friend (Edie loves it)...
The flight out was great. Well, as great as a two-flight trip plus an hour drive can be with 3 kiddos under 5. The boys did really really well. They are very seasoned travelers by now and were completely entertained with a combination of leapsters and DVDs. Both of them even took a nap on the first flight. Edie did pretty well too. She was a little fussier than normal (no doubt due to her new tooth), but managed to take some naps and didn't cry the entire flight (either time). Here the boys are showing off their new flight toys...
Still in Savannah, but ready to go...
We're going to be here through the 27th. Aaron is heading back the 20th for some mountaineering with Pete and a friend, Chris and for a little vacation. I can't wait for him to come back. It's pretty weird being apart for that long. But, I am glad to have the time with the fam. I just miss my hubby. :)
