Soccer time

This morning we had Byron's last soccer game of the season.  He really loves playing.  He  bounces up and down as much as he runs. I finally remembered to bring my camera.  Thankfully it
was a gorgeous day, although it was a little painful getting the troops rounded up for the 9:00 game time.

Of course you can't see Byron, behind the kid with his arms up.

Timed homework

Byron made a quilt out of construction paper for homework tonight.  He had me set the timer for differing amounts of time for each square.  Added a little spice to the usual homework routine.  :)

Down time

What to do when stuck in the house with recovering kids.  Glitter!  Edie has been hone since  Monday, and all 3 have been home sick the last 2 days.  They are mostly feeling fine now.

Waylon birthday-palooza

I just got Waylon's birthday day and party pics uploaded.  We were in the middle of having new flooring installed on his actual birthday (Tuesday, 22).  Thank goodness we had my parents place to hang out.  We had a great day.  He requested Uncle Bubba's for dinner and ate a ton of shrimp.  We had his actual party at our place the Saturday after.  Pete and Alicia were here and helped celebrate.  We invited his class (only 11 kids).  You can see him sitting next to his best friend in the class (Harper) in the pics below.

Can't believe he's 5.  I have to say I LOVE 5 year olds.  The whining seems to have decreased (some, not all :) ) and he is so curious.  The other day Waylon went through all the things he could think of that were made of metal in the car.  He is a seriously cute, neat little kiddo, and a lego phenom.

Birthday King at school

We had ring pops for his school celebration.  Crazy amount of allergies in his class.

Opening birthday presents (aka legos) at Nana Nae's house.

Brother was a big help.

Best smile ever.  Party we had at our house last weekend.

Blowing out candles

Playing in the jumpy we rented.  Pete and Alicia visited for the weekend.
