Just keep swimming, etc..

Guess who swam at the pool (without a life jacket) for the first time today?
Shown here in his cowboy outfit from his brief stint at summer school. It was soo cool. The last couple times we have been to the pool he's wanted to practice without his lifevest on. So, today Edie swam a bit and then snoozed a bit poolside and Byron had his chance. He was swimming from the steps to me and back again. He kind of does a dead man float and then kicks like crazy and ....swims. :) We're working on the arms and the breathing while swimming.

In other Pedersonian news.. Potty training is still going on, and on, and on. And, really, not so well. However, we'll keep at it. Really, there's no other alternative.

The posting has been rather sporadic of late. We had an insane amount of company from late May through the first weeks of June and then Aaron left me (all alone with 3 kids and 2 dogs) to help Pete and Alicia move (We owed Pete big time for all his moving assistance between various apartments in Chicago). However, we're all recovered. It was a LOT of fun. Aaron also passed his boards. Yay!! No more studying (for a test at least) for 10 more years. He is officially official now.
