Huc-a-poos
Last Monday Byron had a field trip to Huc-a-poos to learn how they make pizza. The kids had a great time squishing their dough, rolling it out, mixing the sauce and then adding toppings. They were learning about Italy in school.

Waylon's class party
They made a nativity scene and grinch fruit kabobs. Very cute. Only one more day of the Christmas school extravaganza. I'll post pics of Byron's school play and program soon. :)

Today was the Savannah bridge run. I did a 10k back and forth across the talmadge bridge. It was super fun, but hot!

Soccer time
This morning we had Byron's last soccer game of the season. He really loves playing. He bounces up and down as much as he runs. I finally remembered to bring my camera. Thankfully it
was a gorgeous day, although it was a little painful getting the troops rounded up for the 9:00 game time.
There's more pictures on shutterfly. https://pedersonphotos.shutterfly.com/

Of course you can't see Byron, behind the kid with his arms up. |

Timed homework
Byron made a quilt out of construction paper for homework tonight. He had me set the timer for differing amounts of time for each square. Added a little spice to the usual homework routine. :)

Waylon birthday-palooza
I just got Waylon's birthday day and party pics uploaded. We were in the middle of having new flooring installed on his actual birthday (Tuesday, 22). Thank goodness we had my parents place to hang out. We had a great day. He requested Uncle Bubba's for dinner and ate a ton of shrimp. We had his actual party at our place the Saturday after. Pete and Alicia were here and helped celebrate. We invited his class (only 11 kids). You can see him sitting next to his best friend in the class (Harper) in the pics below.
Can't believe he's 5. I have to say I LOVE 5 year olds. The whining seems to have decreased (some, not all :) ) and he is so curious. The other day Waylon went through all the things he could think of that were made of metal in the car. He is a seriously cute, neat little kiddo, and a lego phenom.

Waylon is 5!!!!
Crazy, but true. His actual birthday was yesterday. We had a good, but crazy day. Our new floors are all done, but they were here till 10pm. Waylon definitely was in heaven. All legos, all the time. He truly is a Lego phenom. He can put together the most complex sets. I'll post more pics of his big day later. We are having his big party on Saturday....after Aaron and I sneak off and meet Pete and Alicia at a NIN concert in Atlanta. Woohooo!!!

I nap at my Nana's house.
Edie napping at my moms house (in Savannah) while our house is having new floors installed. Mom and Dad are now officially snow birds. They headed down our way last weekend. They are planning on staying until spring. I'm so excited.

Byron's birthday weekend
Byron's birthday weekend was soo much fun. We went out for pizza downtown with his friend, Sean on Friday. Waylon spiked a fever at the restaurant so we ended up getting it to go. Saturday, Byron has a soccer game that morning and then a party at Monkey Joes that afternoon. He requested that for his party this year. It was really fun, but pretty crazy and insanely hot. We were sooo exhausted on Sunday. The kids stayed entertained all weekend building legos. Here are a ton, ton, ton of pics. I can't believe he's 7 now! It's so crazy. He is such a neat kid. He's become pretty laid back and really funny.
